🏥1. Protocol Overview
Degen Disorder is a narrative-driven DeFi protocol themed around cryptocurrency addiction therapy. Users are "patients" seeking treatment for their degen gambling habits through Dr. Degen's experimental therapy program.
The protocol uses a miner model (similar to BakedBeans) where:
- Initial "admission fees" are burned forever
- You can only withdraw accumulated rewards, not your initial stake
- Daily check-ins are required to maintain and grow your APY
- Missing sessions results in severe penalties
💊2. Therapy (Staking) System
How It Works
- Admit Yourself - Burn THERAPY tokens as admission fee to create a position
- Check In Daily - Attend therapy sessions (2 per day, every 12 hours)
- Earn Rewards - Accumulate rewards based on your APY and time
- Compound or Claim - Reinvest rewards or withdraw to wallet

💰3. Tokenomics
$THERAPY Token
Burn Mechanisms (Deflationary)
- Admission Fees: 100% of tokens burned on entry
- Relapse Penalties: 3% of position burned per missed session
- Bus Trading Tax: 2% of every transfer buys $THERAPY and burns
Mint Mechanisms (Inflationary)
- Staking Rewards: Minted when claimed/compounded
- Referral Commissions: 0.5% minted for referrers
📈4. APY System
Progressive APY
APY increases with your streak multiplier from 204% (1x) to 2,040% (10x) with consistent check-ins. The formula is:
APY progression ONLY increases through daily check-ins. Missing sessions will reset or degrade your APY.

Session Schedule
Grace Period
You have a 30-minute grace period after each session starts to check in. For example, for the 00:00 UTC session, you can check in between 00:00-00:30.

- Required to earn rewards
⚡6. Penalties (Missing Sessions)
Missing sessions resets your streak immediately. When you check-in again or claim rewards, penalties are applied. All burned tokens are removed from circulation forever - creating deflationary pressure on $THERAPY.
👥7. Referral System
How It Works
When someone uses your referral link to join the protocol, you earn 0.5% commission on ALL their future reward claims.
Referral commissions are minted as new THERAPY tokens and paid when your referrals claim their rewards. This creates passive income for as long as your referrals remain active.

🚌8. Bus System (Token Launches)
The Bus System allows community members to collaboratively launch new tokens with fair distribution.
How Buses Work
- A "Captain" creates a bus with 10 seats maximum
- Users board by contributing ETH
- When full (or 24h countdown expires), the bus departs
- A new token is deployed with 50% to passengers, 50% to Uniswap V3 liquidity
Captain Rewards
The first person to board (Captain) receives 10% of all ETH raised as a reward for creating the launch.
2% of raised ETH goes to the protocol treasury to fund development and marketing.
💎9. Bonding Curve
The bonding curve allows you to buy/sell THERAPY tokens directly from the protocol at a mathematically-determined price.
